Hi there !!

Last week end it was so sunny outside (pretty unusual for Germany!) that I decided that I needed to cheer up my entrance !
So I created a colorful wreath that inspires (me at least!) of spring and Easter !
Here is how I did it :

T
 The material:
- a foam wreath
- a pair of scisors
- any fabric you like
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- felt
- burlap
- pins

Step one:
Cut one or 2 long stripes of your fabric. don't worry about cuting it straight or anything, it will orverlap.
Pin the fabric behind the wreath and roll it over, all the way around, securing it with pins

Step two:
Once you are done "wrapping" your wreath add any kind of deco you have under the hand that you like !! I took some felt flowers that I made ages ago and never used.
Hot glue them on the wreath. I added some buttons  but as you will see at the final picture, I covered the buttons with a green felt dot afterwards cause I didn't think the color fit.

Step three:
To hang your wreath, take anything you have that matches your fabric like felt, ribbon, cords or burlap!
In this picture I tried it with felt but I didn't like the result so I just cut it away and replace it with burlap.
Hotglue the 2 ends to secure it as shown in the picture.

Step four:
Hang your wreath and chek the colors. If you want to adjust it, it's never too late !!
As I said, I changed the buttons for some felt and the felt hanger for some burlap !!!
Add any personal touch for a real nice look !!

And here is the final look !!
What do you think ?
I would love to read your comments !!!

And please let me know if you did a nice Easter wreath as well !!
Love

The lazy (girl) BuN !

Hi Girlz !

Today I want to share with you one of my favorite "hair styling" if we can call it like that !! It's so fast and easy that anyone can do it... even me ! My hairs are not the best for styling cause they are flat and straight !  All you will need is an elastic, a backcomb brush and a few bobby pins.

Well, so here is how to make that super easy bun:

Leave a comment if you tried it as well !!  And if you have other easy tricks to style your hairs, leave your links down below and I'll be pleased to check them out!!  Have a good evening everyone -XO

Hi guys !

today I'm sharing a recipe that I tried for the 1st time tonight and... its really worth the try !! It is absolutely delicious !!! Since a little while I'm trying to reduce my meat consumption and a colleague of mine passed me some vegetarian recipes and that one was a hit, for hubby and I ! Bonus; it's super easy !

You need:
4 tbs of oil
2 zucchinis
1 red pepper (what ever color it really doesn't matter!)
1 onion
2 cups of rice
2 cans of crushed tomatoes
2 cans of water (use the tomatoes one!)

How to:
Preheat the stove at 250°
Sauté all vegetables in 2 tbps of oil. Reserve in a baking dish
Add the 2 other tbs of oil in the pan and stir the rice in for about 2 min.
Pour the rice over the veggies, add the crushed tomatoes and the water and place in the stove for about 45 minutes.

Enjoy !!!

Hi everyone !!

I was shopping a bit this afternoon and I got some products to add to my "sharebox"! Basically, my idea is to share some products that I find here in Germany, and like, with anyone who would like to try them! I am just amazed of how cheap are all the "girly" stuff here. There are no companies sponsorizing me and I am not paid to do that!! I just do it for fun, and because I think that if everyone would share a bit, this world would be an even better place to live!
So here are the products that I add to the box

To take part of the giveaway, just go like my facebook page here;
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Tryn-share/481672898540488?ref=ts&fref=ts#!/pages/Tryn-share/481672898540488?fref=ts
and share the pictures of the products to win!

The cream that you see on top is just so nice, a type of butter cream and it smells like summer !! *It gives me hope to see the sun again*  Here is the "darkest" winter since about 30 years !! I think in a whole week we see the sun about 5 to 10h max in the moment---BEURK!
Therefore, cheating with some bronzer is totally allowed !!  These are basically my "survive the winter" products in the moment :)

I wish you all a great evening !!

Hey guys !!

It's Sunday afternoon, and in Germany, everything is closed on Sunday... which is honestly really strange for me but.. I gotta deal with it!
So I wanted to bake cupcakes but I didn't have much at home so I had to be creative a bit...! I ended up preparing "carrot cupcakes", which is pretty cool because they are healthy treats!!
So here is the recipe if you want to try that at home too, It's super easy to do and soooo yummy!

You will need:
2 and a half cup of flour
3 teaspoon of baking powder
2 teaspoon of cinnamon
half of a teaspoon of salt
1 cup of vegetable oil, or 1 cup of applesauce (for a healthier choice!)
2 cups of sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla
3 cups of grated carrots

How to:
1) Preheat your oven at 350C
2) Mix all dry ingredients really good, using a fork
3) Mix the 4 eggs, add slowly the sugar and mix. Add you applesauce or oil and the vanilla.
4) Add the wet indredients to the dry part making sure to mix well
5) Add the carrots and mix
6) Place in your muffin form
7) Bake for about 20 min.

For the icing;
1 block of Philadelphia cheese, room temp.
1 table spoon  of milk
1 table spoon of vanilla
3 cups of icing sugar, sifted
Just mix everything together until uniform and place in the fridge for min 30 min.

When your muffins are ready, let them cool before icing and enjoy !!!

Have a good baking Sunday!

Good evening everyone !

I found that super cute picture on the week end and I had to buy it! It fits perfectly with our bedroom color and I find it just really nice to see it every day.
LOVE
It's the reason why I mooved to Germany, the reason why I left my family and friends, my job, my appartment.. !
Because I found my true love, the one and only !
At 26 years old, most of my friends were settled, starting to speak about kids... I tought I would never find my prince charming...
But then, while traveling with a dear friend of mine to Cuba... Bang ! LOVE!
The kind of story that no one tought would become true! But well, there is a song that says love can move mountain.. it's true ! (I love u Celine!!)
So for all the mornings I wake up moody, for all the time I think what the f*** is he doing?!, for all the little rows we have about non sense, I LOVE my LOVE picture to remind me to stay grounded.
We have to work on it every day of our life just like everything else if we want it to work !
And you, have you found your other half ?

Hello everyone !

Today I would like to show you something I did for our little home, super fast, easy and cheap !!

Ok so nothing easier than to make your own chalkboard paint ;
One cup of any paint you have + one table spoon of tile grout !
Mixxxxxxxxxxxxxx it and pam pam ! Chalboard paint !
So to create my chalkboard, I took an old picture frame that I didn't like and almost ended to the trash--- Thanks to pinterest, I feel like I can't get rid of anything anymore, just in case I could turn it into something original, hoarder? Do you also feel the pinterest effect on your basement ?! ---
So I just removed the ugly picture that was in, took out the frame and painted directly on the glass.
I gave it 3 coats ...
Coat one was from right to left, then let dry for at least an hour
Coat two was from bottom to top, then let dry for a least an hour too,
Coat three was again from right to left, then let dry for the whole night.
On the next day, your chalkboard is ready !
Write your favorite quote, place it back in the frame and voila !
You have your own little piece of art !
Have fun

Hey there, person who will read this !
Isn't it crazy how technologies changed our life ! I mean I am 30, no SOOOO old yet (well, quite a bit!) but I remember a few years ago when I started the computer half an hour before diner to be able to use it after diner !!
Now I sit in front of my laptop and share my thoughts with I don't know who from I don't know where !
And all of that, at the speed of sound ! (or almost!!) Wow, what will our grand children grow with ?!

Anyways, here is one of the first thing I want to share with you;
My spinach smoothie!
It is kind of popular on the net and with great reason!
Since I started to drink this, my skin is much better (no so many breakouts), I feel much more energitic in the morning (i'm the kind of person that needs coffee iv to wake up) and I reduced my bread consuption, which is a good thing for my italian ass.

The recepie is really easy:
one cup of frozen spinach
one banana
one cup (or more) of any fruit you want
500 ml of low fat yogourt or almond milk (or soya milk or whatever you like)
2 tablespoon of flax seed (will help you feel full for a longer time)
1 tablespoon of natural maple sirup

blend that all and voila ! you have 2 glases of spinach smoothie !
The good thing is that the spinach have tons of vitamins and they are a great way to prevent cancer.
By drinking your spinach, your body will absorb the vitamins easily and it doesn't even taste like spinach !
I made the test at work.. you can trust me; Everybody told me YURRRRK what the f**** are you drinking, it's disgusting... well I told them that before saying so they should try it and, result... No one said it taste what it looks like !! Every single colleagues liked it !
So com'on try it too !!

Hey guys ! Welcome to my blog !! I am Virginie, a Canadian girl who mooved to Germany cause of the prince charming thing :)
Hihi he really is my prince ! I have the incredible chance to be married to the best hubby on earth!
But that chance comes with some "side effects!!" I live now in Germany and most of my friends and family are in Canada.. so I kind of feel a bit lonely here !
Well well, so blogging is or might be a way for me to feel not "so far" anymore, we will see!
There are good things about living in Germany!; it's a pretty nice country, full of history and controversy, every city has it's own charm and you feel miles appart with driving just a few km! We are also right in the middle of Europe, which makes visitng other countries in a week end trip absolutely reasonable !!!!!!! (Try that in Canada or the States!) AH !
Traveling from Germany is also really cheap cause there is so much competition in the market, they just beat the prices !! Which also leads me to say that life, generally is pretty cheap in here... like you pay 60 cents for a litter of milk, no shit!
I know, it sounds crazy, but it's the truth ! So that's why I decided to share a bit of the luck that I have to pay so less for products that I know are quite expensive back to America.. or anywhere else !!
The main purpose of this blog is to speak about some things I like... and get your opinions ! Yes, really, I would like to read from other people around the world ! I am no philosophe, neither a pro in any domain that I might share with you.. But let's make it simple, I'd just like to share stuff that are part of my life, that I like, that I cherish, that I feel good about or maybe mad about !

Well, let's see how it goes and what the fun of blogging brings, or not !
Have a good night all,
Kisses from Germany!
